The Conference for Mercy Higher Education is pleased to announce that the 2008 Symposium on Service Learning and Civic Engagement will be held on June 12,13, and 14 on the campus of Georgian Court University. This biennial event will coincide with the celebration of the centenary of Georgian Court University. In preparing for the Symposium, a task force of service learning coordinators will have a planning session at Saint Joseph College in W. Hartford, CT in June, 2007.

Currently, the Conference for Higher Education web site is in a state of transition. The primary objective of the Conference for Higher Education site is to function as a communication tool with the following components:

  1. Bulletin Board
  2. Blog
  3. Chat
  4. Content Management

Members of the Conference for Higher Education who are not already registered users should contact the website administrator via email at admin@mercyhighered.org. Registered users are able to participate in the bulletin board, blog, chat, and content management systems. Participants can login to the website and manage website content.
