A Prayer for Graduates

God of joy, hope, and Mercy, we thank you for this moment where we celebrate the graduation of our students. Your spirit of wisdom has fueled their hard work nourishing their hunger for knowledge, discovery, and creativity. As they prepare to receive diplomas, let us all walk in gratitude for the blessings they have brought to this place of celebration.

We pray for the families of our students, who often have sacrificed on their behalf. We pray for the professors, administrators, and staff members who have guided our students. Finally, we pray for fellow students who have enriched the lives of our students with friendship and collaboration.

As our students enter a new chapter filled with challenges, may your grace God ease their anxieties and fears. Grant them patience and hope in the pursuit of meaningful work, and the courage to create a peaceful, merciful, and service-oriented life.
