An Easter Prayer

Good and gracious God of Mercy, our creator,
As we witness the signs of nature awakening around us—
Spring gracing us with vibrant blooms,
The melodies of returning birds, and fields ready for planting—
We offer our praise for the greatest sign of new life:
The resurrection of your son, Jesus Christ, which we joyfully celebrate at this time.
The sorrow of his death has transformed into the radiant promise of eternal life.
The Resurrection assures us that justice will prevail, light will dispel darkness, and love will triumph over death.
In our celebration, we humbly seek your grace to embody this promise,
By following the example of Jesus in reaching out to the poor, the marginalized, and the least among us.
As we strive to be neighbors to all we encounter,
May we become beacons of hope and justice in a world yearning for peace and in desperate need of your love.
We praise you during this Easter season. Shape our lives in Mercy, and let our hearts be messengers of Easter hope and joy.
We offer this prayer alongside Mary, Mother of Mercy, and through Jesus Christ, our risen brother.

Amen.
