The Mercy Way

The Sisters of Mercy - the largest community of religious women in the Roman Catholic Church - was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1831 by Mother Catherine McAuley.

The Mercy colleges and universities of today still look to her as they provide a treasured ministry of Mercy.
